French Work Experience
Our 2007 annual Work Experience visit to Paris was a great success! Five students from Year 12 spent a week working at the French primary schools of Notre Dame in Viry-Châtillon and Sacré-Coeur in Savigny sur Orge. The cultural and linguistic experience was one they will never forget! We spent a day in the centre of Paris, where we walked for miles admiring the open air sculptures and artistic installations in the Jardin des Tuileries, Place Vendôme and Palais Royal. Our reward was lunch at a crêperie and a spot of shopping. We would like to thank Madame Bertigny at the Lycée for co-ordinating our visit, the host families and the Primary Headteachers Madame Lestrade and Monsieur Bonnefoy for their warm welcome and hospitality. We are looking forward to the French Work Experience students’ visit to Woking in June 2008.
