Year 7 Normandy:  Students get their first taste of Languages College visits when Year 7 go on a cross-curricular trip to Normandy where they are immersed in French, History, Science, Religion and inter-cultural awareness.

Years 9 and 10, France: All students have the opportunity of going to France, to our partner school in Paris.  This is a catholic Lycee in Viry-Chatillon, and like SJB, is a heavily oversubscribed school.  Many of our students have benefitted from a superb welcome from our French partner school families.

Years 9 and 10, Italy: If students have opted to study Italian, they can go to our partner school in Italy, the Liceo Nolfi in Fano in the North East of Italy, not too far from Venice.  the Italian school is also a very popular and highly academic school. Last year SJB students enjoyed the amazing experience of being literally showered  with sweets and chocolates at the annual carnival!

Years 9 and 10, Germany: Munich is the destination for our German exchange and this has been our longest lasting link with a foreign school.  It is a beautiful city and the Puccheim Gymnasium is an extremely good school which always welcomes SJB students with open arms.

Sixth form language students have the opportunity of going on Study visits to Berlin, Rome or Venice, Salamanca or Sevilla or real life work experience in Paris.
